Why not book a single class so you can ‘Try before you buy’!

Perfect for our existing and past students who need a little help with an existing project.

The dates for individual classes are released close to the start of a new course.  This is when we know where we have spaces in our classes and can release dates as single classes.

 


Details

This purchase gives you access to a single upholstery class and is perfect if you are;

- Interested in upholstery and would like to try it out before committing to a full course.

- An existing student looking to finish an incomplete project.

- An existing student or experienced hobbiest requiring directions for a piece being worked on at home.

Learn a mixture of traditional and modern upholstery skills in this friendly, accessible and professional workshop that will guide you through the process of rebuilding and re-covering a piece of your own furniture.

Master upholster Phillip Blackburn will share his passion for the traditional skill and introduce you to the wonderful world of upholstery.

Use of all equipment, refreshments and tuition in small classes (max 5 students) is included along with acess to a library of resources, materials and a wide choice of fabrics and trimmings. Sundry materials such as webbing, tacks, fibre, horse hair, hessian, calcio, etc. Will be recorded and charged for.

Vale Park is on the right three quarters of the way up the hill that runs through the Industrial Estate, past the Village Bakery, D Jones Plant Hire, Mars-Jones and before BOCM.Turn into Vale Park and look immediately right - the North Wales Upholstery Sign is clearly visible outside our premises.

You Will Need:

A small chair, stool or other small upholstered piece of furniture you would like to revamp. Please email an image of your proposed project well before the class start date so that its suitability may be confirmed and materials ordered.

Please bring a notepad and don't forget your camera if you have one. You'll find it useful to record stags of your work and that of others at various stags.

Please Wear comfy and casual clothing suitable for working practically, thick soled shoes and ideally an apron
