Private Upholstery Class

A one day private upholstery class for up to 4 students with Master Upholsterer Philip Blackburn who will teach you to re-upholster a small seat or stool using a mix of modern and traditional methods and materials.

Date to be arranged to suit your group in 2023.  Week days only.

Tuition, use of tools and refreshments will be provided.  Any materials, fabric or trimmings used on the day will be chargeable.  Please bring a packed lunch.  

Please wear comfy and casual clothing suitable for working practically and you might also like to bring a notepad.

Please forward images of your proposed projects in advance of the class so we can confirm they are suitable and order any materials your group may require. It is vital that we see your projects well before you start the class. Small chairs (not armchairs), stools or other small pieces of upholstered furniture are suitable.

Vale Park is on the right three quarters of the way up the hill that runs through the Industrial Estate, past the Village Bakery, D Jones Plant Hire, Mars-Jones and before BOCM.
Turn into Vale Park and look immediately right - the North Wales Upholstery Sign is clearly visible outside our premises.

A small chair, stool or other small upholstered piece of furniture you would like to revamp

Please bring a notepad and don't forget your camera.

Please Wear comfy and casual clothing suitable for working practically, thick soled shoes and ideally an apron
